Serge-Lemoyne Fund
The Serge-Lemoyne Fund was created to help professional artists who earn most of their income from visual arts activities as self-employed workers and who can demonstrate that they are experiencing a crisis situation. It is a one-time emergency financial support that gives artists in need a respite allowing them to resume their creative activities.
The result of a partnership of choice
The Serge-Lemoyne Fund was born from the collaboration between the Fondation des artistes du Québec (FDA), created by the Union des artistes (UDA), and the Regroupement des artistes en arts visuels du Québec (RAAV). The Fondation des artistes, in addition to the Serge-Lemoyne Fund (visual arts), the Jean-Carignan Fund (music), the Jean-Duceppe Fund (performing arts), the SARTEC Fund (television and film authors), the ARRQ Fund (television and film directors) and the Prévost-Bussières Fund (stage creation). The FDA collects donations to the Serge Lemoyne Fund, makes the most profitable investments and issues tax receipts.
