I am a visual art educator, community organizer and early stage art critic, enthusiast and artist interviewer. In my artistic community life, I value critical research and dialog around radical, transformative and anti-institutional art practices. Criticality in relation to ideas of "authentic portraiture," personal storytelling, and how self expression represents itself in image portraiture remain ongoing themes within my photographic practice. In my research and teaching practice, I focus on commodity culture in relation to representational artwork, the importance of slowness, failure and privacy in our creative processes, the negotiation and power of relationships and relational presence in one's art practice and what it means to make art within the scarcity based crisis of global capitalism.

Le travail abstrait de Philippe Mastrocola prend principalement son inspiration dans la nature essentielle du mouvement. C’est par une incarnation dans le corps et dans les formes vivants qu’il tente de mettre en mouvement qu’il trouve sa joie et sa force. Un mouvement du pinceau est en fait la suite du mouvement précédent, une réponse au geste précédent. En somme, il est question, dans le travail de Philippe Mastrocola, d’une réaction en chaîne : les couleurs lui parlent et lui, comme un serviteur, obéit à leur harmonie chuchotée. 

Pierre Saint-Louis est un artiste peintre-graveur-sculpteur né en 1955 qui travaille à Montréal. Il est titulaire d’un baccalauréat en art visuel à l’UQAM en Arts d’Impression et a étudié au programme de maîtrise en philosophie à l’Université de Montréal en esthétique

Peintre expressionniste-abstrait et sérigraphe, Lénetsky est né à Montréal en 1950. Il mène de front une carrière littéraire et picturale.

Artist Biography 2023 Rosemary Reudelhuber Originally from Texas, via Strasbourg, France and San Francisco, California…Rosemary now lives and works in Montreal, Quebec. Having graduated from Concordia University in 2004, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts; Rosemary has exhibited at the VAV gallery of Concordia University in Montreal, Native Immigrant Gallery and Gallery E.K.Voland. Her work is influenced by a deep interest in science and medicine as a result of working many years as a hospital floor nurse and her marriage to a medical research scientist. Working variously in paint, photography, fibre and sculpture, Rosemary has explored the relationship between human existence and the cosmos.

Sébastien Michaud se consacre presque exclusivement au médium photographique dans des projets autant de types documentaires ou plus conceptuels. Son parcours est ponctué par des expositions au Rencontres de la Photographie en Gaspésie, au Festival Art Souterrain, Au Festival Zoom Saguenay et à l'Espace F notamment. Il a fait partie de plusieurs jury de sélection et de concours photographiques.

Serge Marchetta a obtenu un baccalauréat en arts visuels à l'Université du Québec à Montréal en 1995, après avoir travaillé pendant dix-huit ans à Postes Canada. Il a participé à de nombreuses expositions individuelles et collectives à Montréal, au Québec, en Europe et aux États-Unis. Il a participé à des résidences d'artistes en Europe et aux États-Unis et a reçu des bourses de la Fondation Ténot (France), du CALQ et de la Société de développement des entreprises culturelles du Québec. Ses œuvres figurent dans de nombreuses collections publiques et privées.
