Born and raised in Mexico City, Isabella moved to Montreal, Canada in 2001 to pursue her major in Film Production at Concordia University, specializing in ways of seeing and experimental filmmaking at the EICTV in Cuba.
Her interdisciplinary artworks use artificial intelligence to synthesize visual data, video and sound, as well as projection mapping and installation as medium to create intersensorial experiences.
Recently nominated for the CIFO-Ars Electronica Award, and selected as committee for Composite MTL, her work and collaborations have been presented at the SAT, MUTEK MAPP MTL, Music Motion HackLab, Immers(ed) UK, Gamma Festival (RU), TransArt Festival (IT), Polaris Music Awards 2020, Never Apart Gallery, Anteism space, Maison de la culture Claude-Léveillée , and Espronceda Instituto de Arte y Cultura, en Barcelona (ESP), CUNA MX and the 1st Biennale of Artificial Intelligence for a Sustainable World by Fundacion de Arte Leona Vicario.
